Heck, it's a little tiny thing, right in the middle, prolly jammed
in the 'on' position though. I think the top box is a power supply
or a final amp stage maybe. But I agree that the bottom box is
definately a noise generator. If there's a level control there,
I bet the set screw is so loose you can't turn change it. Just my
luck it would be maxed out too.
