Hi,

I want to use a macintosh printer/modem cable, mini-DIN 8, to connect two
modules together. I have to use all 8 seprate wires of the cable for
individual grounding control, but also need a wire for the positive
current.
Can I use the shielding wire, which is normally used for the ground, to
conduct the positive current or will it give strange magneto-electric
fields.....or something?

Thanks,

Corneel.
