I was just going to send this to the old crow, but others offered
solutions. one was read after I found the problem though heh..
it was pin 3 on IC-30 that bugger was dead... I pulled the chip,
laid new trace and put the chip back... beautiful...
button 1 still doesn't work, but that's because the button seems to
be broke (if I jump it from the back of the button it selects that
slot just fine)
so... anybody know how to jazz up that button? I tried spraying it
with some cleaner, but I the only strong stuff I have is for RC car
motors, and I'm afraid it would be too strong for the plastic.
also, the last problem I have on the polysix is that sub-osc 1 oct
down doesn't seem to work, but the switch works at 2 oct down (so
it's not that big of a deal really) =)
again thanks to all those who sent suggestions.
