pardon my french, but who gives a fuck about a whiny pop band just because
they happen to have a cool synth. there's a whole worldwide movement of real
innovators using real modular synthesis, putting out real records, who don't
give a fuck about their hair style, and don't get asked to be on tv.
this mailing list is usually completely seperated from the mainstream media,
and (from where i, and many other diy-subscribers are standing) radiohead
definately fall into the category of mainstream pop drivel, and i fail to
see their relation to electronics or synth diy.
if we're going to go so off-topic, let's talk about some producers who
REALLY know how to patch a synth, like Reinhard Voigt, Oliver Ho, Marco
Carola, Richie Hawtin....oh i almost forgot, these guys AREN'T on MTV, so
the contributors who need to read this probably have never heard of them.
