They were using a plain Ondos Martinet with the ring controller that
rubs up against the conductive metal band above the keyboard , a little
delay too, I'd bet. These instruments are hard to find, antiques for
sure but every professional orchestra or classical music school can come
up with one in playable condition. Oddly enough, a lot of acceptable
modern classical was compsed for that instrument. About 3 yrs ago I
saw a piece for orchestra and Ondos M played by the Phila Orchestra.
Audities has a real nice one.
I wonder if he was using the leather bag filled with graphite for volume control.
