TB-303 pots!

Hi,

You won't find any pots anywhere that are a good match to the original 303
pots. When most of the pots in my TB303 died, I had no choice but to fit a
second little board inside the case which had panel-mount pots mounted to
it. This modification works very well. It would have been much better to
have altered the original design so that you could have easily fitted some
standard pots!

How about fitting a small aluminium panel underneath the case, drilling six
holes into this and mounting some standard Alps panel-mount pots to this?
The added advantage of this is that (a) the pots can be easily replaced and
(b) more importantly, downward pressure on the knobs will not pressure (and
possibly damage) the PCB.

Rotary switches can be obtained from Roland. I had to replace one of these
in
my 303.

Regards

Trev
