19" Rack panels for DIY synths?

The trends today seems to be a more vertical format.  And, as others have
pointed out, those can be placed on rails that will fit them into a 19"
format of several units (MOTM or Frac rack as examples).

T. Henry was a big fan of 19" panels.  He made most of his synth modules in
the actual 19" rack format.  I have several photos of some of his work in
