  JH, for reasons I've already mentioned to you I've been spending some
time tinkering with my Trident MkII's detune.  One of the things I did was
to measure the slowest beat rate I could attain, given that the detune
knob is quantised. It is something like 35 seconds, judging from the
waveform slide shown on the scope.  This is on a machine that has been
turned on for about 2 hours with the cover closed.  Boths oscs were set to
sawtooth 16' with C2 pressed.
