19" Rack panels for DIY synths?

No the small panels fit together in a 19" mounting frame, usually 3he or 6he
high.
Once mounted in the frame, you have what you whished for.
About 4 to 10 modules in the same packaging as the rest of your gear.

However, this 19" mounting method is more expensive than a custom wooden
rack and less flexible.
E.g. I am building a small system that fits 19", as a mobile system.
For in my bedroom, err, I mean studio,
I've a 1 meter wide custom made rack that fits above my keyboard.

Hope this clears matters up for you.
Cheers, Theo
