Devilfish mod - a well kept secret?

i just have to comment on the topic of the devilfish mod. i have four
friends who have all shipped their 303 off to be devilfished (including
someone who had one of the very first mods), and of all the piles of diy
mods i've seen over the years, the devilfish is definately the most solid.
it's amazing to see the amount of features added to this already tightly
packed little box, with the quality and integrity far surpassing the
original factory specs upon completion. any diy-er who hasn't put their
hands on an authentic devilfish is missing out on appreciating a true work
of art!
also i must WARN ALL DIY-ERS about the integrity of many of the 303 mods
floating around on the internet. many, many of them are total hack mods
submitted by people with no working knowledge of electronics. i am a an
established techno producer who was completely caught up in the acid-craze
of the early 90's, i've done minor mods on my 303 (vcf in, extended range
cutoff and env amount), and in my research i was floored by some of the
idocy applied to these hack mods. best thing is to get the schemos and
figure out exactly what you're about to achieve before cutting into your
rare 303.
