Hi all,
Following the Atmel ISP dongle discussion and because I needed a Atmel
dongle
myself I made a pcb for the dongle described at www.beyondlogic.org .
It's a small double sided pcb that fits the connector and the HC244 and has
the
flatcable soldered to one side.
The pcb itself is 4 by 6 cm (double sided) and has a large ground plane. If
necessary then
it's possible to cut the edges of the pcb to fit it in a DB25 connector
housing.
I have tested the dongle myself and it works. I tested it with the Atmel AVR
ISP program
from Kanda and it programs and erases etc.
If anyone wants the layouts for the dongle I'll be glad to mail them to
persons interested.
Greets,
Heiko
