So true. I was always quite proud of my idea to increase the level of
the input signal to the Moog ladder filter at higher resonances. The
filter needs a greater input signal to overload with all that feedback.
I did this in the VCF-1 by using a stereo pot for the resonance and
using the other half of it to pot down the signal at low values of
resonance. It worked very well.
BUT... the Roland System-100/101 did this very thing in 1976!!
