The TV can work this way as the scope displays are
X-Y and not swept. DC response is not possible though.
You will be isolating the yoke from the TV drive circuit...
they are just (supposedly) insulated. They will pick up
some HV static from the picture tube though.... Maybe still
kick your @ss if you're not careful...
