The Formant? Yes, I did, but that's more than 20 years ago :-)
The VCO uses a uA726, this IC is not available any more. The other
(older) modules use parts which are still available today, but several
things can be done much easier today (they use 741 all the time..). My
Formant was horribly unstable, it took hours until the pitch didn't
drift anymore. But this might well be due to my lack of knowledge back
then, I didn't care to use temperature-stable capacitors in the VCO, and
so on.
Or do you mean the polyphonic synth? This is based on Curtis ICs, some
of them are no longer available either.
