I don't remember the 4700 vco very well so take this with a grain of salt.
Remove the 2 pnp(?) transistors in the first norton loop and use them for the new
expo converter. Reconfigure the norton as a voltage mixer and feed that to the
expo converter. Because the voltage is now inverted swap the collectors on the
pnp pair. Disable the other two (?) nortons. getting the circuit down to 1 norton,
2 pnps and a UJT. You may or may not need the fet buffer but I think you can
just attach it right to the saw amp off the UJT just like it was.
Warning!! This has not been tried. It may not work without major tweaking and
It would be a very complicated modification for a beginner to make.
