almost positively. I believe it just uses a passive resonant circuit under
each key that reflects a certain amount of the transmitted RF back to the
circuit, and somehow this interference is registered as a function of
distance.
Its definitely doable, but if something goes wrong, the silly keyboard
doesnt work.
