it's great idea! you could bank up some 4066's as well or something similar
so yr octave/ dividers can make chords! and a keyboard with single notes..
and use the 74LS624 nice neat VCO MHz range chip, I know it aint too linear,
but linear enuff for 1-2 octave if that, and gen'l note bend, do away with
pll etc altogether.. pop in a couple of VCF and you got a great little synth
accordion!
