Does anybody know what this is/does?

CARVER  C-9     sonic hologram generator

I want to do-away with my zip-drive wall wart when I use it with my
computer, I figure that I can simply patch off of the computer's PS but
I don't know what kind of plug I need, I have some that plug into the
ZIp nicely, but they stick out too far.  I need a 90' angle plug. 
Mouser has some, but I have no way of knowing what size to get.. any
help?
