I like DCO's (Ok, dont jump on me), for me the offer stability and easy
control from an MCU.

It seems odd to me that many people spend years perfecting temperature
stabalization of VCOs
when you could do it with a DCO.... This is just my view so please dont
flame me :-)

The two I used in my MonoWave have a resolution of 0.015hz and upto 1Mhz,
for a straight square
wave, if you want to add ramp (wavetables) assuming you use 256byte
waveforms you get a resolution
of 0.0006hz with a max freq of 4Khz...

Im hopeing to increase both resolution and max freq on my poly synth, at
least 8Khz max output with 256
byte waveforms and a resolution of around 0.0001hz per bit.
