ASM-1 VCO testing

Well, I finally go this thing going today! Turns out (after checking the
wiring a 5th time) I didn't tie Pin 1 (GND) of the LM311 to V-.
Whoops! Makes a big difference! The thing is oscillating now and both the
pulse and sawtooth outs are working. Things sound a little raw, though,
and I was wondering if it is close to sounding the way it is supposed to
or not. I recorded a -15 to +15 CV sweep of both outputs and recorded.
Could someone who has some experience with the ASM-1 listen and comment?
Again, I wish I had access to a scope! (Although the general shape of the
waves looked good in Sound Forge after recording). My test setup is:
-15 to +15 CV in through a 1 meg pot
Outputs each connected in series with a 100k resistor and out to my sound
card through a 1/4" jack

This is just the raw VCO outs. There seems to be some external buzz in the
sample and I am not sure what is causing it or if that's what is causing
the "raw" sound of the sample. This is my first VCO (as well as my first
synth related circuit), so any advice is greatly appreciated!
