No,its hardly not sleep mode, are you shure you have checked your
design if it uses a feed back resistor over the crystal/buffer?
Most designs do!
For example most/many MCU's uses a 3,5M -10M ohm resistor
paralell with crystall to enshure crystall oscillation start up.
Allso the capasitors shall not be to large, 29p seams OK.
