Yes, I know this sound well :-)
Thinking about it, this could well have been the reason that my last
3310 died. This was shortly after my synth was seriously overheated.
Silly me - I had put the heatsink of the power supply inside the plastic
case (now it's outside on the back). It got so hot that even an
electrolytic cap started leaking =:-)

The sockets look like the cheap ones. And they are about 15 years old
:-(. Perhaps it's time to replace them all.
