Like almost anything, an SMPS can be good or bad. Emu obviously thought
they were good enough even back in the days of the Emulator II (haven't
seen the inside of a I, but maybe that had one too) and in the pro-audio
world, top, top names like Focusrite and Chord are happy to use them...
