Yes that's exactly what I ment. Try this for fun. Turn it off and
open up a piece that's full of socketed chips. Then just press 
around at random...Hear that? That's the sound of the chip
finding the bottom of the socket again. Heat ,vibration, shipping
...any number of things work them loose.....Most chips still have
a good mechinical connection to the curcit and continue to 
happly work away. Crap sockets can cause major problems 
and some chips do tolirate iffiy connections at all.
