You are right ! 
I was going to write "pin 3", but that's the peak voltage.
Maybe they are adjusting the Attack Time CV according
to different peak voltages ? The attack phase would become
a little more linear with lower amplitudes then.
But Decay and Release should keep their time constants
and shapes without further correction. (Asuming that the
sustain CV is tracking the Peak CV of course.)
