Same here, extension is kept hidden no matter what.

Yeah, this one keeps the paranoia level up. ;^)  &  :((

It seems that .SHS are virtual basic related files.
The one on my system exist of some code and resource block containing a bit
map.
IE and Windows-help show the bitmap, when you click it the code is executed.
