Howdy folks!
I've recently got home after a travel which included a diversion into
flooded UK Midlands Worcester. There Paul Maddox had the great
kindness to invite us to invade his home and his playroom. We where up
to 7 people to join up and people where sleeping basically all over
the place. Many thanks naturally goes to all the other participants
(we had a lot of fun you know) but also to Paul's wife Jessie wich had
to cope with the sudden invation. This was a great oppertunity for me
to meet some of the faces and persons behind emails and even products.
There was an Oakley modular there as well as Midi Matrix 2,
both carried there by their creaters. Paul's Miniwave was naturally
around aswell. We naturally took a look inside ;)
Also, it was VERY nice to have a go at Paul's PPG wave 2.2.
The night out with the gang at the local pub "The Golden Oak" was
certainly not something I'd like to miss and lucklilly I didn't.
... and this flooded buissness...
Yeah, they are flooded down there, but Paul's house it well beyond
safe. However, when Paul tried to refer to a surface that was clearly
a large lake as "our cricket field" then I started to understand why
they say that there is not much action in cricket... it's just so
bloody heavy to move around fast in the water. Now, in the middle of
that lake was a small island with a suspisously small amount of grass
around the house which dominated the island. This house Paul refered
to as "our club house". I doubt that cricket is my sport.
Seriously, I had much fun even if I was rather tired from all the
previous adventures in the week. Now I am even more tired!
So, Paul, THANKS!
I now have a weeks of backlog of email, bear with me as I start to
pound through it...
Cheers,
Magnus
