Great work!

But, the problems around viewing this gifs (reported by number
of people) gave me freedom to try to modify a bit your gifs
for more optimal results. 
I had problem to open it in my standard ACDSee so I went Photoshop.
I guess problem is because gifs are huge (3metersx2meters !!!).
So what I did (shocking my tiny HD :) is to convert it from
indexed color to greyscale, resample it in, say standard bicubic
mode but with resolution at say 150 pixels/inch and measurements
divided by 10 (it was 301 cm, I just moved decimal point and
kept proportions).
So I got 170K gif but it's very easy to open and still looks
nice and printable (as you did good job cleaning it).
It might use more resolution than I used...
