Question About Pots

2 watt pots are (usually) more expensive than 1/2 watt.  What 
about lifespan?  Is the resistive layer in a 2 watt heavier than
the 1/2 watt?  If so, would this make it more durable?  This
question presupposes that the application will require less
than 1/2 watt performance from this part.
