I had no idea that it was patented!
Must be the best patent ever!
For those who don't know... the "D" in the patent number indicates
that this is a "Design Patent", a patent for the non-functional aspect
or ornamentation of an item.
Beside here is the P for the IG oscillator used by Yamaha:
4191932 i think!!
"P for the IG"? It's a charge-pump VCO.
How do you do when one wants to get older patents then 1975?
If you live near one of the Patent Libraries in the US you can drop by
and look over bound patent collections (free), make copies off of
microfilm ($0.25 per sheet), or search through their computer
databases (small charge, but they will go on line in the future).
