No. Because it isn't usefull in terms of saving.
Hertodyning is used for single band filters AFAIK,
you can spend for a complicated, sharp bp filter with
fixed frequency and then scan via modulation.
But: One frequency at an instance of time. Not 20.
Timemultiplexing is not possible in order to save.
