modular analogue fx

Hi, i was hoping to turn some analogue fx i have into
modular like fx. I don't have the schematics, and I
was wondering if it is possible to mod them without
the schematics? The units are: ibanez ue-400 (
flange/stereo chorus, phaser, overdrive, and
compressor ), and a dod 585-a analogue delay. On the
ue- i want to add individual inputs and outputs, as
now the unit has a patch system of 5 positions on a
knob with one main input and output. I was also hoping
to alter the settings of alot of the stuff, ie make
the distortion stronger, phaser faster more resonant
etc, but I don't see this occuring w/o schematics. On
the delay I wanted to add cv inputs for time and
feedback. It would also be nice to have a corse time
and fine time knob but I don't know if this is
possible. Thanks for entertaining my musings.
