Midi the other way round...

hmmm..... not immediately obvious (tho' they mention using a keyboard to
input a cv) how one would go about generating note-on/off with note number.
I think I know what harry wants to do; I need to do something similar in
order to exploit my customisedquantized maq 16/3 with midi sound sources as
only the cv/gate outputs are quantized and I'm sick of schlepping the moogs
around when the average p.a. doesn't know the difference....
nearest I've been able to concoct, using readily available hardware, is a
single channel of note-on/off with note number using the footswitch and
pedal inputs on a peavey pc1600.

however, I think I might get meself one of those there finger-drum things.
that looks like a laugh......
