>>You can pick up Boss SE-50 effects boxes for $50 nowadays<<<
not in the uk, you can't. they've held their value much better, fetching
over £200 usually. I don't know what the vocoder's like in it, but the one
in the se70 is pretty good on either "economy" or "full-load".
why do roland/boss always discontinue their most useful products?
re powertran: can anyone help me find schemo's for the mcs1 delay
line/sampler? I've got one, and it works, and it's fab, but I want to modify
it so that I can remotely trigger a reset in the delay/freeze mode, so that
however fast the internal clock is going, it starts from the beginning of
it's memory-contents whenever it's triggered. maybe I need tim orr's e-mail
address......
(it says on the back "designed by t.orr/r.monkhouse")
I'd like another one, too.
and (risk of getting flamed) what's so bad about doepfer? my maq16/3 and
drehbank work just fine, and the quantizer module I put in the 16/3 does
exactly what it's supposed to. have people had trouble with other products
of theirs?
d.
