Thanks for the responses.

I have been using TI chips so far mainly for TL-072 (081, 082 etc.)  The ECG
chip I got was a substitute LM-3046 that I will be using in Tom G's vco3d.
Now I don't think I want to use that chip.  I can't seem to find an LM-3046
made by TI?  What other companies have good reputations for their IC's?
