[EFM] Been quiet lately... too much DIY ?

    I agree, but they have their places.  This particular autorouter
(NeuroRoute) seems to do a pretty good job on surface mount boards.  For through
hole stuff, the best one I have come across is SuperRoute.  This is an old DOS
based router.  The only interface I have for it is Protel Traxedit, which has a
1000 net limit, so that leaves that one out.  Also, I suspect I could probably
not figure out how to set that one up any longer.  Then there are the truely
pathetic routers, like the one that comes built into Protel for Windows (I have
version 2.7).  Not only does this router do an extremely bad job, but it is also
VERY sloooowwww.  I can hand route boards (literally) faster than this thing can
route them.   Auto routers especially come in handy when doing contract work.
