Shoot, my wife's out of town, so I have no albi! *sob* Ah well, in
spite of me having to work yesterday (and no, I don't just mean mowing
the yard, which I did as well)...

I have been slowly building mine but it will take me some time as I
figure out exactly how I want to finish it. I ran out of machined
sockets so had to order those plus some 072 (which if you guys weren't so
cheap and ordered the ACN versions, they wouldn't be on backorder... ;)
And speaking of backorder, does Mouser carry ANY XT crystals?? I
checked every single damned 4.00MHz crystal in their catalog and ALL of
them were on backorder! Sheesh!
Some of the things I'm pondering right now is to banana-fy or not.
I'll have to take the face-plate to the old milling machine and lengthen
the jack holes by 40 mils on each side to accommodate the flatted shafts
of common banana jacks.
Doing that will also prevent me from using the 9mm pots, so I'll
probably use the 0.500" pots I used on my VCO's, but I do have to make
sure that they'll fit in the somewhat cramped spaces. I'll connect the
pots to the board by locking AMP headers (which I have tons of here at
work) and then use a pair of swivel standoffs so that the PCB can hinge
down for easy access.
As for other projects, I'm going to be receiving a 4-voice with only
one lonely SEM unit...so I'm tempted to clone the SEM circuitry and fill
out the rest of the empty spaces...
