Been quiet lately... too much DIY ?

Hmm. Seems like we worked on similar projects this holiday. I've been
pulling out all the old distortion devices I've built over the
years. I also searched the net for a schematic of the Chandler
Tube Driver but came up empty handed. If anyone has this circuit
I really, really want it. Another circuit I want is the Dynacord CLS 222
Leslie simulator.
The astute among you might make the connection; I've been looking
at David Gilmore's setup :-)

Another project. I have the Roland GKS pickup. I've heard the output is
really low. I'm interested in what you come up with.

I would still want the option of individual outs. I might want to
process one string differently than the rest. Or maybe three assignable
busses with rotary switches for each string. I'm not ready to build
a hex phase shifter, but I might want to run different strings into
different units.

Lot's. Take a look at the TS909 topology with diodes in the feedback
loop of an opamp. Note that some people have got good results with
OP275 op amps so don't kill yourself trying to find the original
JCR4558's. Try different diodes or multiple diodes. If you put a
lot of different parallel diodes in series with variable resistors,
could you tune in various diode effects? Use an LDR/LED combo and
get VC distortions changes.
Or Craig Andertons UltraFuzz, zero crossing detection to give a square
wave. Convert the square wave to triangle and the triangle to sin.
Of course a fuzz face or big muff w/o IM would be fun too. Big Muff
on bottom three strings and fuzz face on the top.
Or two fuzzes per string with a crossover filter, play hi get one
fuzz, play low get the other.
Go to http://www.geofex.com and read R. Keens excellent analysis of
various distortion boxes.
Oh yeah, I just bought a Fulltone Ultimate Octave distortion this
weekend.
Now if I could play chords thru that...
