Take a look at the Zoom 510 Dual Driver. It contains 2 distortion
sections that can be run in serial or parallel mode. You'll get the most
distortion in the serial mode with the level of both sections up full.
You can play with the other settings and adjust to taste. And in case
you change your mind, there is a noise reduction section :)
You can get these used quite cheap ($50 or even less), and depending on
your requirements, there are some other effects built in that you may
find useful too.
