If I remember correctly, the start/stop line of DIN sync is 5V for "running"
and 0V for "not running." There may be a "Reset" line in there as well,
which tells the instrument to continue it's sequence from where it was
stoppped. I think that if the reset is asserted when the start line rises,
it's a "Start-from-beginning" command, otherwise, it's a
"start-where-you-were" command.
The precise impedances, currents, etc you should expect to use in DIN sync.
If you can find the schems for the TR808, you can probably deduce some of
that info from it.
