question for hobbyists here

Gentlemen/ladies:
An upcoming new Metasonix product could be made
available as a PC board with assembly instructions.
I'd like to gauge if there is sufficient hobbyist
interest in this.
The PCB is about 10" x 9". It will contain the
basic circuits for a tube monosynth, consisting
of a tube VCO, a simple tube bandpass VCF and tube VCA,
plus two basic AR envelope generators (one for VCA, one
to modulate filter center freq) and a triangle LFO
(also for filter mod).
The VCO is driven from any MIDI-CV that can produce a
V/Hz response and has an offset trimpot, such as a
Kenton Pro-4, JKJ, or Phil Rees converter. Its range
is C1 to a little over C3, with a switch to raise
that 2 octaves, giving more than 4 octaves.
Gate input is 10v positive-going. There is CV and
gate input, an aux. filter CV input, a VCO
FM input, and audio output, all fully compatible
with conventional solid-state synth equipment.
An optional connection can let you inject an
external signal into the filter (this needs an extra
switch to shut off the board's internal VCO).
The controls are off-board, using ten 50k pots
and 3 spst switches. Power requirement is +12v
and -12v at about 600 mA (need not be regulated),
plus a source for 120v AC from a small isolation
transformer or back-to-back filament transformers.
Holds 4 tubes, 3 ICs and about fifty assorted
resistors, diodes and caps. No exotic components,
all readily available from Mouser or Antique Electronics.
Cabinetry and power supplies are up to you--a 2U
high rackmount cabinet will hold it all.
This partial kit should cost $100 and is best
for experienced kitbuilders (there is +140v dc
on the board and the assembly instructions will
be rather simplified).
If anyone on this list would be interested in such
a kit, please let me know. It can be ready by
mid-June.
