3046 BURNOUT

I'm still trying to work out a way to use standard 1
amp regulators ( 7812's) as opposed to the 500mA (
78M12's) as used in the Moog Prodigy. In the osc
'heated chip' section, the use of 1 amp types, causes
the LM3046 to blow...
Any help here would be apprecciated...
