Greetings to all on list: question

[Twine sound]

Hi, I'm chad, I'm new on the list.

I want to get into building filter banks, like the Sherman filter bank.  Is 
this very complicated.  I know some basic electronics.  I am teaching 
myself, what is a good book to get started.

I compose electronic music and I am very into the work of David Tudor, and 
his electronics.  I want to do work like this myself.

Any help would be most appreciated.
