I've cajoled about this before with a friend as he has the VG-8
guitar system. It really wouldn't matter if it was a stick
with a wire
on it. All you're doing is triggering.
It has  synth, classical,
acoustic, basses and more! emulations.
No the synth does not sound too swell.
Even the Boss SY-B pedal sounds way better.
