Palm Pilot MIDI gets cheap! Here's a build it yourself MIDI adapter for
the
Palm's serial port, which means that you can use it with the Handspring
devices!

Obviously these aren't really cheap yet, although an 8mb handspring
could be found for about $250.  The potential of these as sequencers,
MIDI filtering devices, and live performance is immense.  It seems like
you could create an interesting touch pad/sylus MIDI controller without
too much trouble as far as programming goes.  Is it possible to create a
CV controller with the same theory?
