Patent violations?!

Ian,

some people say that the European or especially German patent offices
are much more into rejecting, be it the content or the filing date.
For my recent attempts to get four patents I had to learn that even
offering engineering samples of a chip with the invention on it (and not
telling about it) can be considered as publication, so you get into
conflict with your own work!
