Yeah, I always take a power amp with me whenever I go for a dip.

Harry, I'm guessing that you have one of those little half-rack Stewart amps 
(PA50/PA100/PA200).  They don't really pack much of a wallop for live use, 
though they make great little project studio amps.  You ought to try one of 
Stewart's larger units (PA1200, PA2400, etc.).  You might then change your 
tune about amps with switching power supplies.  Those suckers can REALLY push 
some big air - and they're also not too bad as swimming accessories.
