adding pitch to Technics SL-Q200

Hello gang,

I've been lurking for a long time, and now have a question about modifying a 
soundsource..

Please forgive the debateable relevancy!

Has anybody thought of adding a pitch fader (+/- 10%) to a Technics SL-Q200 
direct drive turntable... (making it suitable for plugging into filters and 
getting more of a variety of sounds!)

THis TT is of the type without any pitch fine-tuning. In fact just the 
opposite, it has a (defeatable) auto-queuing feature, and a 33/45 RPM 
switch..

I'm thinking a place to look would be that 33/45 switch.

Just the same, I'd be grateful if someone who's done this were to share 
their experience!
