Chaos Circuit

Looking at this oscillator circuit, what is the function of the 10K resistor on the output of U1A?
It is almost like an inverting amplifier using 100k and 16.3k. But it uses the non-inverting inputs.
I has simulated the circuit on the computer and it functions as a less than unity gain in-phase.

Of course I know how to solve the rest of the circuits as inverting amps, sum amps and proportional integrators.

Thanks
Jimbob
