Scott,
Check out E-Bay. I saw a Tektronix 453 for $36!! Dual-channel 50MHz analog. Good
Price!

Subject: In the market for a scope
I've seen some posting regarding scopes and many say that
for synth-DIY/audio use, a 20 MHz bandwidth is sufficient.
Since I have no intention of doing any RF or high speed
digital work, I agree that this limitation would help keep
the price down.
Analogue is a must. I would like to have dual trace
(alt and chopped) as well as X-Y operation and Z input.
Triggered sweep too.
Can any of you recommend brands (and maybe even model numbers)?
And also which mfrs to stay clear of?
I'm looking for something reliable.
I've used Tektronix scopes in the past and although they are very
nice, they are pretty much overkill for my needs I think.
